Too often we hear about fraud; be it credit cards, social security numbers, bank accounts, etc. On occasion we also hear about a company being impersonated such as in the recent toothpaste issue with Colgate, where a discount store in the United States had purchased toothpaste from an overseas manufacturer that contained antifreeze and which was packaged as a Colgate product. We have all heard on the news or read in the paper about individuals claiming to be a representative of a company that he or she is actually not associated with, in order to gain entry into someone’s home or business. Fraud and misrepresentation are serious issues!
