Our quest to bring additional technical support is going well. We have recently hired a new technician to primarily do all radio programming and some portable repair work. We understand that repair “cycle time” is critical to you and to our company. This addition to our technical staffing will certainly help us to maintain an acceptable turn around time for every customer! I have also interviewed and tested three potential new technicians. Late in May, I am bringing a final potential technician to Los Angeles from Canada for an interview and to take our technical exam. All prospects have industry experience in servicing Motorola radio networks. My intent is to hire one or two technicians to work in our in-shop repair and in our field service department.
All manufacturers including Motorola regularly increase the cost of replacement parts and accessories.
